Cleat installation

Since the interior paneling will go in before the boat is painted, I decided to install the midship cleats over the epoxy printer.  I’ll have to mask around the cleats when I paint in a few months. The original cleats did not have a backing plate, so I added a 5/16″ 5086 Aluminum plate. Then an  EPDM pad to separate the pieces and butyl  sealant above and below the cleat to waterproof the holes.img_1002 img_1003 img_1004 img_1005 img_1006
